Hey, I'm Margaret!

A twenty year resident of Texas I worked in marketing at many of Austin’s high tech companies. Creating Makers Luck vacation rental as an escape from the city was my answer to the massive growth and terrible traffic happening in Austin. My parents are from the South and as a kid we made regular visits to the family farm in Alabama. The transition from city streets to country roads always made an impression and as an adult they still do. I wanted to create a place that was easy to be at home in – modern, organized, simple, comfortable, uncomplicated.
